RE: what are cross roads sunset trail 5vrs like
We purchased a used Cruiser and so far love it. The web site forum is great. I have also called the factory twice with newbee questions and was delighted. I also noticed there were not many for sale, my guess is they may be sold before they are traded or people just don't get rid of them.

RE: Special modifications for a short bed truck?
We have a Quad cab short bed Ford, when we picked up our unit (our first) we went to the local abandoned Wal-Mart parking lot and played. The empty parking lot really helped with turn radius with and without slider, backing, get our communications down etc. Worth the time, it made the Admiral (my wife for the non-boating types) a lot more comfortable with driving the rig.
